Oof!

I remember watching Larry King on "Larry King Live" around the time that UHF came out. His guest was none other than 'Weird Al' Yankovic. I couldn't tell if he was joking or not, but King insistently pronounced the title of the movie "Oof" instead of "you-ach-eff". In some regards, King was right. For any fan of Al, this movie is a must see. For anyone else, you're on your own. The acting is horrendous, but to an Al fan, that doesn't matter. The clothesline plot, which drags quite a bit, serves to bring us delightful commercials like "Spatula City" and "Gandhi II" and shows like "Wheel of Fish". Michael Richards appears as a mop-obsessed janitor in one of his pre-Kramer roles, demonstrating that his brand of physical comedy is hard to beat.
