Tranquility

Looking over the list of elements in Panic, I expected a pretty thrilling ride. Neve Campbell made Scream and Wild Things sizzle. William H. Macy, so good in Fargo and Pleasantville, would definitely make an interesting hitman, especially a conflicted one. I'm always happy to see Tracey Ullman's name in the credits. Best of all, though, Panic promised John Ritter, in a role that will surprise you! In practice, the characters are a bit too crazy to make their combination click. The parts are all well played, but enough of them weren't the types of characters who should've been played at all. Donald Sutherland is given an especially ludicrous part to play, and I just couldn't enjoy it.
