John Cusack worked hard for this movie, and it payed off. He gets to play a very complicated character in some very clever scenes. Minnie Driver and Dan Aykroyd are perfect in their roles, and George Armitage ties everyone together. The plot is exceedingly slick, and all of the characters are amusingly silly, striking an excellent balance between serious and zany. If you see this dark, dark comedy see if you can spot the other Cusacks in the film: Joan, Ann, and Bill. Joan's pretty easy to find, but Bill will be a real challenge for you.
